This presentation from the launch of the Census Report Volume 2B Occupation and Industry, gives insight into what people in Myanmar are doing on a daily basis. Information on occupation and industry for those people who are working is presented according to the International Labour Organization’s classification methods. The presentation details how many people are employed and unemployed, the major industries that people work in, disaggregated by sex, as well as key social issues such as the number of children aged 10-17 years who are working and therefore missing out on an education.
