On this International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, UNFPA’s Representative Ramanathan Balakrishnan calls upon actors in Myanmar to implement the actions agreed within the Joint Communique and to protect vulnerable women, men, girls and boys from conflict related sexual violence to put survivors at the center of the response and to promote accountability to end conflict related sexual violence.
