17 May is International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) - a day to mobilise awareness about LGBTQIA+ discrimination and violence, and to acknowledge and celebrate diversity. Besides country-specific pride festivals, it's the biggest day acknowledged globally regarding LGBTQIA+ rights. The theme of the day is: "Our bodies, our lives, our rights".
